ABOUT US
It began inHatton Garden.
My career in jewellery began in Hatton Garden in 2008, working in diamond jewellery production. It gave me an appreciation for the decisions and skilled hands behind a finished piece, from choosing a diamond to getting the setting just right.
When I later looked for jewellery for myself, I was drawn to simple, elegant designs: fine bands, open settings and beautiful stones. I wanted pieces I could wear every day and still feel excited to put on.
I founded Katy Halliday to bring that idea to life. An independent British fine jewellery atelier, shaped by my own taste and the specialist expertise that first introduced me to jewellery making.

THE DESIGN
Modern classics, made personal.
I love the familiarity of a classic piece, and how a small change in proportion can give it a different feel. A finer band, a more open setting, the shape of a claw. These are the details I return to when designing.
I consider the diamond and setting together, looking for a balance that lets the stone shine and feels comfortable when worn. My aim is jewellery that feels natural on you, whether you wear it alone or alongside pieces you already love.
My designs are made to order: designed in London, cast in Birmingham, then set and hand-finished by specialist artisans in Hatton Garden.
THE DETAILS THAT MATTER
Beautiful jewellery. Considered choices.
I choose lab-grown diamonds because they let me work with the sizes, shapes and quality I love. The grading report matters, and so does the diamond itself: its proportions, the way it catches the light and how it looks in the finished design.
The centre diamonds in my collection are VS1 or above, guaranteed eye-clean and independently graded by IGI or GIA. Each piece is made in precious metal and UK hallmarked.
I want choosing your jewellery to feel enjoyable and reassuring. Clear information and personal guidance are part of that, along with care after your piece arrives. Complimentary professional cleaning and inspection can be arranged through the client care team.
